Enjoying a long sabbatical in Paris and then San Francisco to discover other cities and cultures.

Leading a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers and ux specialists to launch experimental products like map.local.ch. Agile development of iteratively selected features and improvements. All the projects were carried out during the switch of the company’s architecture from PHP to Ruby.

Leading a team of four Liip engineers, developing the frontend part of the Swiss Yellow Pages website. Usage of Scrum and cutting edge web standards to improve and add new features on the Swiss Yellow Pages website.

Working on one of the three most visited Swiss websites, the Yellow Pages local.ch. Maintenance, improvement and new features development of a custom built full stack web framework, handling deployment on several frontend servers, talking to a backend API and using test driven development.

Successful completion of my studies with a thesis produced at the freshly founded Liip AG company. The thesis consisted in an analysis of the current status and future possibilities of geo-location aware mobile phones and websites. Built a J2ME mobile prototype in symbian, talking to a website and recording your locations.

Foundation of a web agency with two classmates during our studies. Crafting websites for small companies like restaurants and music bands. Defining requirements with clients, helping them with their information architecture and implementing the solutions with customized CMSes.

Development of websites for companies, in collaboration with web designers, developers and administrators. Mostly working on Kesako’s own projects like the student platform etudiants.ch.

Second year completed in Finland as an exchange student (ERASMUS)
